If you are not a member of 1USA (If you use another ISP service to connecto to the internet, you can switch to 1USA. Once you are a 1USA Subscriber, then the 1USA Support Staff (in Pennsylvania, not in India) (we speak English) can help you with all your questions about computers... and how to clean viruses & spyware off the computer. 1. 1USA Subscribers can Click here to download the Spybot:Search&Destroy program. Save it into the My Documents folder.... the My Downloads Folder.... or somewhere you won't lose it. 2/23/2006: If you're not a 1USA Subscriber, here is the link: www.safer-networking.org 2. Open a My Computer window and locate it, double-click to begin the Installer. 3. After installing Spybot:Search&Destroy, click Start > Programs > Spybot Search & Destroy >Easy Mode. The step-by-step instructions are here... 4. Click on the Help Menu to learn about what Search&Destroy does to protect your computer and to learn how to read the Scan Results. The step-by-step instructions are here... 5. When you are done with the first round, then click on the Update button to retrieve updates and do a 2nd scan. Sometimes the Update Servers are busy... If so, then come back later to retrieve the updates. The step-by-step instructions are here... 6. Then check your computer for spyware by clicking on the Check For Problems button. When a list of infections appears, click the Fix Selected Problems button (at the bottom of the window) to disable/remove the spyware. The step-by-step instructions are here... 7. Also go back to the My Documents folder (or wherever you downloaded it to) and delete the Installer program. It's no longer needed. New Updates are published frequently, so there's no sense keeping an older Install file handy unless you're going to be installing onto a 2nd computer. The step-by-step instructions are here...
	All Updates are self-installing from the SpybotSD program's menu. There is no need to retrieve the Updates as separate downloads.
