Sep 13, 2001 - US declares a state of National Emergency against Terrorism.

The horrific events of the week have us all grieving, and it is a Wake Up Call to increase the levels security in the American way of life.

The reason that events have been cancelled for this weekend is because the event promoters cannot promise the safety of the spectators. If a Jihad Warrior shows up with bombs wrapped around them, the event promoters would not be able to ensure your safety. Other methods are via car bombs - either parked at the entrance and left to explode later, or actually driven into the Entrance - to kill as many people as possible.
Yes, Americans, Jihad warriors may be living among you for the last few years.

For the benefit of young people who don't understand what's happening:
- because you grew up without any religion in your schools
- because you grew up without any military obligation known as the 'draft'
- because your parents, who did grow up with these things, chose not to pass on these experiences to their kids - for one reason or another.
Now would be a good time to go ask questions and gain some experience.

Terrorism is an act of destruction performed by single individuals or groups, usually small groups.
They are small groups because intelligent people won't join!
However, some of these militant Islamic sects are out to kill all Americans.
Group members are brainwashed into believing various things.
They are taught to never question their leader's authority.
Most group members are recruited from the ranks of poor people.
The main reason that members join is to "belong".

There have been reports of shootings by Americans in the USA aimed at all Muslims.
Do not go out and attack local Muslims. The Islamic religions are as diverse Catholics and Protestants. Most of them are good, honorable people.
The Islamic religions, like Christianity, say "Thou shall not kill",
however just as there are certain Christian groups that encourage killing, so are there Islamic sects that encourage killing under the name of "Jihad".

It took some forty years for Islamism to be recognized as a phenomenon that is not always identical with the Islamic religion of the majority; indeed, it has become a distinct force operating in many ways separate from the general Muslim community. After another twenty years of increasingly sectarian existence, a major segment of this Islamist minority took this transformation into political extremism one step further. They now turned Islamism into Jihadism, militancy into insurrection.

You need to understand that in the Middle East, many of the government leaders are also the religious leaders. In Saudi Arabia, they don't call him the King, they call him "The Keeper of the Flame" which is a religious meaning to their peoples.
In contrast, in America, there is clear separation of church and state.
This is probably why us Americans have a hard time understanding the ways of the Middle East.

At this time Four German citizens are being held by the Afganistan government
under the charge of preaching Christianity, and awaiting Trial.
United Nations people have visited the Afganistan government, and visited the prisoners, to no avail.
The penalty is death.

Other countries that are currently fighting terrorism have the following rules -- and America would benefit by doing the same:
- Bags and packages are inspected before going into a store, not when leaving the store.
- Armed army guards stand ready on each busy street corner.

Attacks on Americans and other Western Civilizations throughout the world are not new.
How deeply were you concerned when Embassies were bombed in the last 10 years?
How deeply where you concerned when whole villages were wiped out - just last year ?
How deeply are you concerned when US Citizens working aboad are kidnapped for $200,000 ransom?
Where do you think that money goes to? (it goes to support the Jihad cause.)
Now Think Why the recent events upset you more than these others....

Get yourself educated on the situation!

It is reported that Saudi Arabia's government is $200 Billion in debt because the "Keeper of the Flame" and politicians put all the oil money into their own pockets. Many of the citizens live in huts and don't even have the water to take a bath once a month. If the country is so rich, making millions of dollars per day in oil, Where's the Beef?

And Corruption is world wide. It is reported that the government of Egypt, Pakistan, Tunisia, Iran, Syria and many others are corrupt.
The only thing that poor contries see of the USA is the volunteers who go there and build water supplies, schools, and try to convert them to Christianity.
The only things they hear of the USA is the bad news - because their governements censor the news.

Both Christianity and Islam say "Thou shall not kill", but just like there are militant groups everywhere, each with their own cause, there too is a militant group of Islamic people who have declared a Religious War (GiHad) against ALL AMERICANS.
Apparently, they view the US's political actions and various interventions into their own governments as a negative. Apparently they feel that ALL Americans are guilty.
Do they feel that ALL Americans are guilty because WE elect those people who represent us?
Do you think it's possible that the money that the US goverment gives to these countries is 100% spent for the intended honorable purpose?
Do you think that the Congressmen and Senators in D.C. really care? Where is the accountability?

The concept of the person "on the street" in many foreign countries is that the average American worker sings happily as they go from their air-conditioned house to their air-conditioned car to their air-conditioned job.
Most countries don't have enough water to maintain the people, yet in America, they have enough to swim in it!
This is more than enough to make the average foreign person living in poverty feel deep jealousy of what the Americans have.... but since their government keeps them at the 4th grade level, they probably don't understand that Democracy makes it all possible.
And yes, we have to root out the bad eggs from time to time and be vigliant to protect our freedoms. No other country in the world has as much freedom as in America.

Young people:
Go ask a Veteran why they served in the military as they did, so that your life is in freedom.
As you get older, you may begin to understand.

Learn more about "the enemy", their warriors, and news in other nations (that they are allowed to print).
Pictures like this make me sick.

The streets of America (up until the last 10 years)
have been the safest streets in the world.
Let's work together to keep them that way.

Education and "understanding what the threat is" is the first step.

This, from a Canadian newspaper, is worth sharing.

America: The Good Neighbor.

Widespread but only partial news coverage was given recently to a remarkable editorial broadcast from Toronto by Gordon Sinclair, a Canadian television commentator. What follows is the full text of his
trenchant remarks as printed in the Congressional Record:

> > > > "This Canadian thinks it is time to speak up for the Americans as the most generous and possibly the least appreciated people on all the earth.

Germany, Japan and, to a lesser extent, Britain and Italy were lifted out of the debris of war by the Americans who poured in billions of dollars and forgave other billions in debts. None of these
countries is today paying even the interest on its remaining debts to the United States.

When France was in danger of collapsing in 1956, it was the Americans who propped it up, and their reward was to be insulted and swindled on the streets of Paris. I was there. I saw it.

When earthquakes hit distant cities, it is the United States that hurries in to help. This spring, 59 American communities were flattened by tornadoes. Nobody helped.

The Marshall Plan and the Truman Policy pumped billions of dollars into discouraged countries. Now newspapers in those countries are writing about the decadent, war-mongering Americans.

I'd like to see just one of those countries that is gloating over the erosion of the United States dollar build its own airplane.
Does any other country in the world have a plane to equal the Boeing Jumbo Jet, the Lockheed Tri-Star, or the Douglas DC10? If so, why don't they fly them?
Why do all the International lines except Russia fly American planes?

Why does no other land on earth even consider putting a man or woman on the moon? You talk about Japanese technocracy, and you get radios.
You talk about German technocracy, and you get automobiles. You talk about American technocracy, and you find men on the moon - not once, but several times - and safely home again.

You talk about scandals, and the Americans put theirs right in the store window for everybody to look at. Even their draft-dodgers are not pursued and hounded. They are here on our streets in Canada, and most of them, unless they are breaking Canadian laws, are getting American dollars from ma and pa at home to spend here.

When the railways of France, Germany and India were breaking down through age, it was the Americans who rebuilt them.
When the Pennsylvania Railroad and the New York Central went broke, nobody loaned them an old caboose. Both are still broke.

I can name you 5000 times when the Americans raced to the help of other people in trouble. Can you name me even one time when someone else raced to the Americans in trouble? I don't think there was outside help even during the San Francisco earthquake.

Our neighbors have faced it alone, and I'm one Canadian who is damned tired of hearing them get kicked around. They will come out of this thing with their flag high. And when they do, they are entitled to thumb their nose at the lands that are gloating over their present troubles. I hope Canada is not one of those."

Stand proud, America!
