Home Page Your homepage should be designed with your target market in mind. If most of your visitors are residential and download the newest versions of Internet Explorer web browser every few months, then by all means have nice buttons with roll-over effects, fancy javascript animations, etc. If your visitors are mostly workers & employees of other companies, then I'd back off the fancy stuff and make it functional. Everybody's employees are over-worked nowdays and don't have the time to wait for a "pretty" website to download. They just want to get to your info ASAP. You might even ask your clients what other websites they find easy to use. If you turn that into a Marketing program and make a big deal about it, they will end up appreciating you more because you took time to ask them.
